Was just about to head out and explore reddish vale for the first time after reading about it on this website, gutted to hear how narrow minded bigots have put a stop to the plans. We could really do with a set up like this in Manchester!!

That would be fantastic to have facilities near by, looks like the area would benfit from the investment. However on your link from singletrack your web oage states that the project has been binned due to strong objection from Tame Valley Defence Group, is this true??

Fantastic!!!! Its close to a lot of riders in the area, plus, this is what the young, talented up and coming riders round the north west need. I reckon with a bit of input from local riders to help design trails, the Downhill can have alternate lines for less experienced riders and technical lines for those a tad more experienced.

Me and my mates use to be in the vale everyday building dirt jumps near the kennels until they put some big tree trunks in the way and made us demolish the Jumps

I think this is great news. I've recently introduced my son to MTB and he loves it. It'll be great to have somewhere to go that's a bit more local.

I think this is what is needed to overcome some of the hurdles society faces at the moment. Finally some recreational activity that does not rely on spending money. It would give younger people something to do. I am absolutely in favour of this proposal (not just because I am fanatical about biking), and will help in any way needed.

I think it's a great idea. I live in Brinnington and there's a lot of kids who could get a lot out of it

Like the idea. Hope it works out, It's close enough to ride to and god knows I need the practice time and facillities!
